The 12 Days of Christmas...

On the First Day of Christmas, the gift I'll give to me, Weight Watcher Meetings For me!

Yep. You read that right. I'm back, and for Christmas I decided to go back to Weight Watchers, and just wait for my sister to regain her senses and join me again.

So, I went yesterday and got a nice gift in return! I actually LOST weight since my last weigh in last March. About 6 pounds.

Now, that's a nice way to start of going to meetings again.

On the Second Day of Christmas, I gave a gift to me: One Light Breakfast!

I had gotten out of the habit of eating breakfast everyday, and that always just ends up with me pigging out at lunch time and after school. And that is never a good thing for weight loss.

So. That's my first two days of xmas posts. Tomorrow, find out what I give myself for the third day of Christmas!

Help!

Really rough time of it. Eeeesh. That's all I can say.

Hoo boy.

Having a HECK of a time staying OP. I'm not ready to go back to meetings yet. I know that to be truly OP you HAVE to go to the meetings, but It's been PMS-a-palooza here and I think I've got about 10 pounds of water sloshing around various bloaty areas of my body.

I think I just need to change up my whole attitude. So, even though officially, WW doesn't do the Core Program anymore, E-toolers are keeping it real, but changing the name to "Simply Filling"

Same food lists, same "rules" as Core, but with an emphasis on portion control.

So. Here's my menu today:

Breakfast: Fiber One and fat free milk.

Lunch: Whole Wheat Penne Pasta, imitation crab (don't look at me like that. it's good!) and a can of Del Montes Organic diced tomatoes with basil and oregano. I've portioned out a cup of this, and it is super good! When I have finished this portion, I will assess my hunger levels to see if I need more, or if I am simply satisfied.

That was yummy. And I have left overs. So I know what dinner will be tonight!

Okay, so that's it. I rocked Core the last time I tried it (and really worked the plan-to the letter), so I feel hopeful that this will give me a nice boost for my Weight Loss, and it will get me more in line with what WW's new Momentum program wants to be.

Again, I'm Back Again!

wow. really really fell off the WW wagon. But getting back on.

First some catching up: the year from hell has been over since July 08. Having a GREAT year at work! And it seems I eat more when I feel happy. Go figure.

Anyway, crept back up to about 175 and it's time to creep right back down.

So today, the second day of March, 2009, the month that I will turn 44, I am recommitting to Weight Watchers.

Breakfast could have been better. 2 singles of 2% milk swiss cheese. What can I say, I'm not a big breakfast person. I have to work on that.

Lunch went well. I had one of those Healthy Choice Fresh Mixers--a dry pasta and sauce packet that you microwave separately and mix. It is quite good. It's 5 points, but I mix in a Laughing Cow garlic and herb cheese wedge and that bumps up the flavor and the points to 6.

Also commencing Spring Cleaning today. Each day I have a different target in my house. It's kind of my own version of the Fly Lady (who I love and will begin following dutifully once Spring Cleaning is done). Anyway, my first target: the kitchen.

For this tiny apartment, I consider my kitchen to consist of the actual (extremely tiny) kitchen, and the area where our dining table is.

I'm taking baby steps; cleaning a room at a time, and incorporating the Fly Lady Routines back into my life as I do.

So, I feel really good. Very optimistic. I've got my career under control, and now my weight and home will follow.
